#16 It makes it easier when other people wanna work too

It's a pain in the ass being the only person to work. You know what I mean. You're either the sibling who always cleans the house, or always does the dishes. Or you're that office worker who always gets the paperwork on time. You're the friend who always plans the get togethers, or initiates a plan. If you don't know what I mean, then it's because you're the piece of shit who sits around and watches while we do all this work. I hate those people. The rest of you, I love. I told one of the girls at work today that I loved having her around, because she genuinely wants to work. She continuously asks, okay, what next...okay what next? Sometimes I actually run out of things for her to do and it is so fucking amazing! So I told her today that it's such a relief when employees/coworkers actually want to work, and care about what they're doing. It makes me want to be better, it makes me want to work harder. Our store, come November (like and retail store) is a fucking disaster, no matter how hard you try there just isn't enough time (or willing employees) to put in the grunt work that a store our size requires to keep in clean & organized. Since Saturday we've been sliding around fixtures, re-stocking shelves, sweeping, organizing, blah blah blah and finally finished it all tonight. It looks fucking beautiful. Everything is organized, everything is tidy, aisles are clear with legit 4 foot clearance on every side. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I love great employees. The fact that you care, and that you want to help and do the work makes me want to work too. It gets me excited about the prospect of getting things done and doing them right. So for all you people who take charge out there, thank you thank you thank you, you make this world a better place!
