It comes so quick you hardly even realize

Nad's baby shower is this weekend. We decided this a few months ago, but in class Reine fashion, I haven't started any of the planning until right now. We've got out list of games, got the prizes-- God willing there aren't a thousand ties because i haven't planned for it. Anyway so the giftsare wrapped, i'll have some better photos for you later, you can really see where i started slacking. The first one is so beautifully tight, andthe last one is verging on the point of being horrendous. Oh well. I'm pretty sure a room full of europeans will complain about it anyway, i'm pretty sure they'd still complain if Martha fucking Stewart wrapped their gifts too. So whatever. Shaaadup. I'm heading home to start the diaper cake. I don't even know where/how to begin. But fuck it. I'll figure something out. And if not, well i plan to throw a bunch of diapersin the air like confetti and call it a fucking day. NOTE TO SELF: when i have a baby or get married, fuck the whole "shower" business. I will gladly accept your gifts and warm wishes over a cup of coffee, just me and you. No bonbon-fuckin-ieres,no decorations or centerpieces or games or trivia. Just you and me. Your mom can come too.
