One of These Mornings

This song came on Without a Trace tonight, have a listen--

It's not the real video (there isn't one), but it's pretty fitting all the same. Without a Trace is famous for its music, prime time has reached a new level of entertainment-- sitcoms are breaking bands, introducing artists, changing the music scene. It's insane, really. This song is haunting. That's probably the only word I can find for it. It really is.

Poses a good question though-- reminiscent of the ever-so-famous "you never know what you've got till it's gone." True, I get it. I've noticed a lot of things after they're gone. I've had a short life so far, but I've felt it, the nostalgia of wanting something after it's gone. Like my mother, when she goes back home for a while, I miss her a lot. More than I ever thought I could. Like friends, you'd never think they have such a powerful impact until they're no more. Songs, when I get sick of a really good song, I actually miss it. Cable, I really miss cable in my bedroom. One Tree Hill, I really miss hte good days. It's a powerful song, the kind that easily-- easily has the power to scare the shit outta me if I were home alone. Music does that. Brings back a memory of a particular time, particular place. This song-- it's just scary. All memories aside, just scary.
